ABOUT US

The M&M Construction Group is general construction company specializing in both residential and commercial construction. We have been involved in all aspects of the construction field including custom remodels, additions, alterations, patios, decks, tenant improvement projects, roofing, and residential foundation seismic retrofitting as well as commercial seismic retrofitting of both URM (un-reinforced masonry) buildings and concrete tilt-up buildings.

We have a fully equipped roofing division ready to undertake most of our client’s roofing needs. Our roofing experience extends from single family one story roofs to six story commercial buildings. Keeping up to date with the latest roofing requirements and code changes to better serve our clients has always been a top priority. Our roofing division services the entire Los Angeles area, however we have in many occasions per our clients request performed work in Riverside, San Diego, and Bakersfield.

OUR HISTORY:

The M&M Construction Group started in Los Angeles in 1998 under and still to date the direct management of Manuel Rivas who oversees all operations from beginning to end. To better serve our growing list of clients, in early 2004 we moved to Pasadena.

Before 1998 Manuel managed LDG, Inc., a reputable company located in Los Angeles (also known as Lucas Development and before as Wilshire Construction Group). LDG, Inc., specialized in seismic retrofitting of URM buildings and tilt-ups. Some of the most notable projects were The Granada Hotel in Los Angeles (1990), The Villa Riviera Hotel in Long Beach (1990), and The Dodsworth Building in Pasadena (1997). In most cases the scope of work involved anchoring installation, cord system, steel frames, caissons and structural footings, gunite, shotcrete, repointing, and low pressure grout and epoxy injection.
