Our Preventative Roof Service & Maintenance is based on years of roof installation, repairs, and maintenance experience. Our focus is to prolong the life of the roof and its ability to prevent water penetration into the structure. There are many potential problems that can result in a roof leak such as leaves and dirt collected over the months, debris left behind by contractors maintaining roof mounted equipment, broken roof mounted equipment which leaks chemicals on the roof surface, or someone who simply decided to have a drink or meal on the roof deck.
Roofs with a history of problems should be inspected and serviced two times a year. However, there are some roofs that simply have no hope. They may be too old and the deteriorating process too advanced to repair. In many cases the roof membrane has lost too much granulation and cannot deter water but instead becomes saturated with rain, allowing water to penetrate and leak into the structure.
The M&M Construction Group is an APOC Restoration Approved Contractor. Applying a proper reflective coating will protect the roof membrane (cap sheet) and can lead to a better and more efficient roof. This reflective roof coat can be both beneficial and profitable for all of our clients. You will be up to current code standards but studies also show that less energy is used to cool or heat a building due to the reflectance and emittance provided by the elastomeric coating. This simply means that savings in energy costs can be expected.
